Los Angeles native Kenji Swanson is an art dealer and curator whose work centers on emerging artists, contemporary culture, and creating meaningful connections between artists, collectors, and communities. A graduate of Stanford University, where he studied Art History, Kenji brings an interdisciplinary perspective to his curatorial practice shaped by interests in visual culture, storytelling, identity, and representation.

Kenji has built experience across galleries, museums, public arts organizations, and independent exhibitions. He has served as Associate Director and Curator at Strike-Slip Gallery in San Francisco, worked with Fort Gansevoort Gallery in New York, contributed to exhibitions at the Anderson Collection at Stanford University, and served as a panelist for the San Francisco Arts Commission. Through these experiences, he has worked across curatorial development, artist relations, exhibitions, sales, research, and arts programming.

As a curator and dealer, Kenji is committed to championing artists and expanding the audiences and opportunities surrounding their work. His practice focuses on developing thoughtful exhibitions, building lasting relationships between artists and collectors, and creating experiences that bring contemporary art into conversation with broader creative communities.
